I have a peculiar addiction to little boxes. These days you can get them very cheap at your local craft store, complete with cute little hinges and fasteners, purely for the purposes of decorating. What you actually put in them is very much secondary.
I also have a ton of nail varnish. I can’t remember the last time I wore it. I don’t have the patience – it’s far too fiddly to put on neatly, and anyway it chips when I play guitar. So, having succumbed to another little box on my latest craft shopping trip, I decided to see what happens when prehistoric nail varnish is poured over the lid.
It’s just the right size for storing all those business cards I pick up at craft fairs.
