Green Heart Brooches

These fabric brooches are handmade from felt, ribbon and scraps of cloth, with a brooch pin sewn on the back. They’re a great project for using up offcuts, ends of ribbon, mismatched buttons and sequins. I used a sewing machine to “collage” a background from cloth and ribbon, then cut out heart shapes, backed them with felt and hand stitched the edges with embroidery thread. … Continue reading Showing the love
